Welcome to the Prayer Wall! Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Please pray for the right connections for him that lead to a job quickly, and also provisions in the interim for his family. Ukraine Addison FWB Church asks that we continually pray for the people of Ukraine and the current situation going on there. Gallipolis, OH Cathy asks prayer for- My family members that are lost, for my family to come together in love and not hatefulness. My brother who is a recovering addict that has been hit by everything imaginable since getting clean, he still talks and praises God so I pray he keeps God in him. Pray for our church to grow and for more people turn to God and make this world better for all. One of my neighbors is also struggling with addiction so please pray that God removes that devil from him. Red House, WV Asks- Please Pray for John Parsons, he's going through a lot of health issues. About the Sing and Things to Know Gospel in the Park Concert Series Are you or your group interested in singing in the park? We'd love to have you! The Gospel in the Park Concert series was created by Rick Barcus, an avid lover, and promoter of Southern Gospel music, who served faithfully as Pastor of Addison FWB Church for over 35 years. This concert series was created to bring people from Gallia County and the surrounding areas together on Friday summer nights for gospel music and fellowship in the beautiful Gallipolis City Park. Pulling from local and professional contacts, we've had groups such as the Detty Sisters, Bloodbought, Randy Shafer, New Southern Harmony, Dustin Lambert, Covered by Love, Scott Frasier, and many more. Scroll below for more information. CONTACT FORM Things to Know Equipment The Gospel in the Park Concert Series does not currently have our own equipment. Groups are paired together with at least one group that is able to bring equipment. Thank you to all who have shared in the past! The Sing starts at 7:00 pm, equipment can be set up at 6:00 pm or later the day of the sing. Weather and Cancelations Gospel in the Park is an outdoor event, because of this, the sing is subject to weather cancelations. We will try to give as much notice of cancellations as possible, especially if your group has a long way to travel! Please let us know if you need more time, but we try to make the call by 4:00 pm the day of the sing. Love Offering and Merchandise As a local sing, groups are not paid. We do take up a love offering during the sing, and the offering will be split among the groups. You are welcome to set up a table if you have CDs, promotional information, etc.! It's a great opportunity to meet pastors and make church connections to help further your ministry and share the Gospel.
